2. Static LAN IP address

In order to connect to Raspberry Pi located somewhere in LAN we need to know it’s IP address. Raspberrry Pi can get it from DHCP server located in your LAN, but it will be random and different every time by default. You have two ways to change it. First – you can log on your LAN router and to set as defined IP address according to your Raspbery Pi MAC address (after save and reeboot your router should give the Raspberry Pi the same IP address well known to you. You can also (most recommended) to set staic IP address directly on your Raspberry Pi. You can do it follow one of links listed below.
